Error: MSOFFICE caused invalid page fault... at 0137:5000170c (due to UNC path).

Error:

Illegal Operation. MSOFFICE caused an invalid page fault in module MSOFFICE.EXE at 0137:5000170c.

Cause:

This error may occur when clicking on a button on the Office Shortcut Bar while holding down the CTRL key. The button was originally created for a network share or to a folder on a network share and the path to the target folder uses UNC. Microsoft Corporation has confirmed this to be a problem in Office 95.

Solution:

Do NOT press and hold down CTRL when clicking on a Shortcut Bar button.
